the best burger you will ever eat that wasnt from a restaurant
this is a long time family recipe that i have edited over the years
too be honest, i never really messed around with measurements, i just went with what i felt it needed.
depending on how many you wanna make and how big they are will determine how much of this stuff to add. i will just go by what i make for me and the wife when she wants my burgers.
this will make about 4 or 5 good sized burgers.
about 1 pound - ground beef
1 egg raw
3 strips uncooked bacon
1/2 cup - 1 cup bread crumbs, may need more. you decide how much
grated Parmesan cheeze
1 small white onion
minced garlic
italian seasoning
crushed red pepper
balsamic vinegar
worchestershire sauce
a big mixing bowl
to make:
chop onions
cut up bacon into small pieces, about 1/2 inch squares. you can figure it out
add to big mixing bowl:
Beef
egg
chopped onions
cut up bacon
the bread crumbs, start with 1/2 cup and go from there. you dont want a gooey mess.
the bread crumbs holds it together
id say about half of a teaspoon of the garlic, or less if your not into garlic
about a tablespoon of the worchestershire sauce
about a teaspoon of the balsamic vinegar
just a dash of the red pepper
1/4 cup of italian seasoning
1/4 cup of the grated Parmesan cheese
now mix it all up
i find it works pretty well if you use your hands.
voila, you have some awesome burger mixture
firstoff i start making big meatballs
this way i know how many i have and can make them all the same size
once i have as many as i am going to have
get your cutting board, pick up a meatball and slam it down on the board
pick it up and slam it down on the opposite side.
obviously, not too hard, but hard enough to make each side relatively flat
then start in the middle and work your way out to press the ball of meat flat.
now, put all of your burger patties in the fridge to firm up
go start the grill and when the grill is ready, so are your burgers
enjoy

Thats similar to a recipe I made for burgers long ago, only yours sounds about twice as good! Gonna have to try this one soon.
